The Alaria Leaf has a nice, mild crunch that’s been easy to sneak into soups and salads, and the Sea Lettuce Flakes are a solid bonus for sprinkling on rice. I’m new to sea veggies and this kit gave me a good, low-pressure way to test both.
The jar of Sea Lettuce Flakes is way bigger than I expected, and the Alaria Leaf came in a resealable bag that's perfect for keeping it fresh. I've already thrown a pinch of each into soups and salads—great way to dip a toe into sea veggies without committing to a huge bulk order.
The two kinds in the box cover the basics nicely—I've been crumbling the sea lettuce flakes over rice and simmering the alaria leaf in soup, both easy for a first-timer. Packaging is plain as warned, but the amount feels fair for the price.
